Re: Strange server error when user clicks quickly

Hello Candice Zhou,

thanks! What's the .pdb file and why shouldn't I upload it?

I already tried the customErrors tag in my Web.config, but it had no effect:

  • I added this to my Web.config (without an additional "error" tag:
    <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="~/sys/Error.aspx"/>
  • Then, I entered the hostname of my application with a non-existing subdirectory.
  • This gave me the standard "not found" error page:
<div id="header"> <div id="header">

Server Error

</div> <div id="content"> <div class="content-container">

404 - File or directory not found.

The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

</div> </div>

Magnus
